It's difficult to find a place in Estonia with a richer military past than Paldiski. The famous Pentagon of submariners, the nuclear reactor, the missile base - this is just the tip of the iceberg for a Soviet-era closed military town. All of this is discussed on this tour, and what's even more exciting, we will do it through the memories of the men who served on nuclear submarines! But did you know that even Peter the Great had big plans for Paldiski, that an attempt was made to build a breakwater between the peninsula and the Pakri Islands, and that free apartments have been handed out in the city even in modern times?
