Tallinn Old Town is undoubtedly one of the most famous and beloved places in Estonia - but how many visitors truly discover the stories that bring this historic city to life? Starting from the Viru Hotel, we’ll make our way through the heart of Tallinn’s Old Town, exploring its most famous sights alongside hidden corners, overlooked details and places you might otherwise walk straight past. Have you heard about the mummy of Niguliste Church? How were people punished in medieval Tallinn? And what was a medieval pharmacy really like? Along the way, we’ll uncover fascinating stories, local legends and curious details that reveal what life in Tallinn was really like centuries ago. This entertaining and engaging tour combines history with stories from both the past and present, offering a different perspective on Tallinn - one that goes beyond the usual guidebook highlights. By the end of the tour, you’ll have a better understanding of Tallinn, its history and its modern life, along with plenty of fascinating stories to share of your own. For tours in December we also visit Tallinn's Christmas Market and admire the wondrous and festive Old Town.
